Not adhering can impact your end results.
Proper aftercare is paramount to getting the optimum results from the procedure.
Regular makeup can be worn immediately after the procedure, except the procedure area. No water, lotions, pencil, and sun block for 10-14 days. For eyebrows, Vaseline should only be used when you shower/cleanse face then gently dab off afterwards.
The eyebrows will appear darker immediately after the procedure and will be darker after a few days. It will begin to look natural in 7-20 days. When choosing a color, it is recommended to go lighter until we see the healed results. It’s not a problem going darker but cannot go lighter.
It is very common to have areas fade more so than others. It is part of the healing process and will be treated at the recommended touch up appointment. Scar tissue sometimes does not take color as well.
Red and blonde hair and fair skin types will experience more swelling, redness, and fading more than darker skin types.
Do not work out the day of the procedure as the body heat expands the pores. It is recommended not to sweat (heavily) for the first 5-7 days after the procedure. Salt in sweat will prematurely fade, blur, or cause the pigment not to take at all.
Avoid sleeping on your face during the first 10 days after the procedure.
Clients with darker skin (Middle Eastern, African American, Filipino, etc.), please know that the hair strokes will not appear as defined or as dark as lighter skin types due to the skin color already being naturally darker.
Do not rub, scratch, or pick at the treated area. Let any scabbing, flaking, or dry skin naturally exfoliate off.
No swimming until the area is completely healed, saltwater/chlorine will cause the pigments to fade of change in color. It is recommended to apply Vaseline to the procedure area eben after healed to prevent chlorine/water/salt water from penetrating the area.
No tanning or stay out in the sun after procedure for 2 weeks.
No saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers lasting more than 5 minutes.Post Care Instruc
